NA Picks Up Section Win Over Pine-Richland, 172-198
Under brilliant sunshine, the North Allegheny girls’ golf team got back into the swing of things on Wednesday afternoon with a 172-198 win over neighborhood rival Pine-Richland in section play.
The clubhouse leader at Conley’s Golf Course was NA freshman Kayli Dings, who carded a low score of 41. Seniors Lauren Kardos and Katie Rose Rankin followed closely behind by each shooting a 42. Junior Amber Roth tallied a 47 to round the scoring for the Tigers. Pine-Richland was paced by Kat Oliveirn and her score of 45.
North Allegheny improves to 8-1 overall and 3-1 in the section. The Tigers will host Mars on Thursday in non-section play.
