NA picks up sweep over North Hills

Boys
The NA boys swept section rivals North Hills 7-0 on Friday evening at Pines Plaza Lanes, by a total pin count of 2,573 – 2,153.
The Tigers steadily improved throughout the night, scoring team games of 801, 833, and 939. High game (214) and high series (619) for NA were both put up by Nathan Phillips. The Tigers were consistent for the entire night, putting up a team average of 172 pins per game. They finished the night especially strong in the third game, with Phillips scoring a 212 while Seojin Oh (200), Sai Gunapalli (195), and Dominic Danko (193) all had their high games for the match. The Tiger boys move to 1-1 on the season.
The team will travel to Columbus, Ohio this weekend to participate in the Red & Blue Classic tournament, with their next section match against OLSH at Perry Park Lanes on December 10.
Girls
In their first road match of the season, the Lady Tigers took on the North Hills Indians at Pines Plaza Lanes. The Lady Tigers were able to pull out their second win with a pinfall count of 1537 to North Hills 855 pins.
Junior Jordan Phillips rolled a high series of 426 with games of 153,141 and 132 while sophomore Livie Etzel posted an impressive 135-game. Aarna Desai followed her up opening with a 109-game.
The Lady Tigers next match will be at home on December 10th against the OLSH Chargers.
