NA Shoots Best Round Of The Year In Win Over Warriors
North Allegheny shot its best round of the season Wednesday in a 186-208 victory over Penn-Trafford. The Lady Tigers previous low score at Shannopin was a 192 on September 4 against Pine-Richland.
Junior Megan Leto led the Tigers with a 40 and number two Sophia Lee shot a career-best 41. Sophomore Kate Brickner tallied a 51, followed by Jesse Pak’s 54 and Katrina Good’s 58. For Penn-Trafford, Elizabeth Papa was the leader with 48 strokes.
North Allegheny improves to 8-3-1 overall with the non-section win. The Lady Tigers are back to section play on Thursday with a visit to Fox Chapel Golf Club to face Shady Side Academy. Tee time is set for 3:30 pm.
