NA Sinks Seneca Valley For First Section Win
The North Allegheny girls’ golf team earned a win in its first section match of the season with a 161-213 triumph over the Seneca Valley Raiders on Thursday afternoon at Pittsburgh North.
Senior Caroline Wrigley again had the top score with a 2-under par 34. Wrigley had four birdies in an excellent round of golf. Senior Christina Lewis had a strong day as well with a 37. Juniors Bella Walter and Christina Zhou each tallied a 45. Junior Esha Vaidya followed with a 46 and sophomore Olivia Schenk added a 55.
The victory on Thursday wrapped up a 3-0 week for the Tigers. North Allegheny will visit Ambridge on Tuesday in non-section play.
