NA Takes Down Shady Side Academy, 168-195

In a battle of two out of the last three PIAA girls golf champions, North Allegheny got the best of defending champion Shady Side Academy on Wednesday at Fox Chapel Golf Course.
Led by Caroline Wrigley’s round of 38 and Christina Lewis’ 39, the Tigers defeated the Indians, 168-195, for their ninth straight win to open the 2017 season.
Also shooting a sub-50 round for the Tigers were Esha Vaidya (45), Christina Zhou (46), Jordan Farrell (46), and Bella Walter (47).
Up next, the Tigers will look to remain undefeated on Thursday when they return home to the Pittsburgh North Golf Course to take on Shaler in a Section 4-AAA match.
