NA Trounces Tribe For Non-Section Win
The North Allegheny girls’ golf team traveled to Southpointe Golf Course to battle the Peters Township Indians on Friday and came away with a 164-202 victory.
Southpointe is a new home course for Peters Township this season and thus no previous knowledge of the course for the NA golfers. However, there was no setback for the Tigers as the junior tandem of Christina Lewis and Christina Wrigley led the way with matching scores of 39 on the demanding hilly course. Esha Vaidya carded a 40, while Bella Walter and Jordan Farrell each shot a 46. Christina Zhou rounded out the scoring with a 50.
Following the win, North Allegheny improves to 3-0 overall. The Tigers continue section play with a home match against Mt. Lebanon on Monday.
