NA Wins Battle Of Tigers Over Moon, 165-172
The North Allegheny girls’ golf team bounced back quickly from their only loss of the season on Thursday afternoon with a 165-172 section triumph over a very tough Moon squad.
The Tigers received a strong effort from seniors Lauren Kardos and Katie Rose Rankin, who shot a 35 and 36, respectively. Junior Megan Manesiotis shot a 45 and freshman Kayli Dings added a 49. Senior Kate Gilliland chipped in with a 52. Moon was led by Alizebath Cross, who carded a 39.
North Allegheny improves to 7-1 overall and 2-1 in section play. The Tigers return to action on Tuesday with a home section match against Oakland Catholic.
