Restore Respect To Sports Officials
Below is video that was released on Thursday by a group called Officially Human. The tag line for this group is “Restore Respect to Sports Officials”. The message is simple, it is a message of mutual respect for the parts we play in sports. It also shows the grim facts that we face regarding the future of interscholastic sports. Verbal and physical abuse has been all too common and if we as a group do not find a way to collectively address this issue, all the training in the world to the officials will not replace the dwindling numbers.
