Sarah Schupansky Traded To Boston Legacy FC

Former North Allegheny and Pitt Soccer standout Sarah Schupansky is shippin’ up to Boston.
The NWSL midfielder was traded from Gotham FC to Boston Legacy FC on Friday.

According to the Legacy FC website, the team will receive Schupansky while Gotham will receive $50,000 in allocation money and $30,000 in intraleague transfer fee funds.
Schupansky made 38 appearances for Gotham FC since beginning her professional career with the club last year. In her rookie season, she had 23 league appearances, starting 16 matches and recording a goal and five assists while winning an NWSL Championship. The five assists were tied for second in the league.
The Legacy next plays the North Carolina Courage on Saturday, August 22nd at 7:30 p.m.
