Tigers Cut Down Eagles For 3rd Straight Win
Continuing a strong second half of the season, the North Allegheny girls’ golf team earned a third consecutive victory with a 169-175 non-section win over the Oakland Catholic Eagles on Thursday afternoon at Diamond Run Golf Course.
Sophomore Kayli Dings delivered with an outstanding performance, posting a clubhouse best score of 36. Seniors Megan Manesiotis and Amber Roth shot a 42 and 43, respectively. Sophomore Omisa Shah capped the scoring for the Tigers with a 48. Grace Winfielder paced Oakland Catholic with a 38.
North Allegheny improves to 4-9 overall and 4-5 in the section. The Tigers will try to continue their late-season momentum at the McDowell Invitational over the weekend.
