Tigers dismantle Nazareth Prep

The scoreboard barely had time to keep up as the touchdowns poured in from every corner of the roster. Senior Mia Bosley was the engine of the ground game, carving through the Nazareth Prep defense for three rushing touchdowns.

The scoring was a true team effort, showcasing the depth of this year’s lineup:

Ava Kmytek (So.) had a career day, finding the end zone twice on offense and scoring her first varsity touchdown.

Brynn Hughey (So.) added a touchdown of her own to go along with her defensive contributions of three pulls.

Luci Zagacki (Sr.) contributed a touchdown and an extra point.

Ella Knoch (Sr.) reached a major milestone, hauling in her first touchdown of the year.

Alexa Pealer (Fr.) made her mark on the big stage, recording her first Varsity touchdown and adding an extra point.

Quarterbacks Macy Sundgren (Fr.) and Sloane Baker (Jr.) both connected with several receivers to keep the Tigers’ offensive momentum moving. Baker also contributed an interception on defense.

As impressive as the 66 points were, the zero on the other side of the scoreboard told the real story. The defensive unit was relentless, suffocating the Saints on offense.

Senior Danika Hogan set the tone early with five massive pulls, while freshman Kara Fischer was a constant nuisance for the opposition, racking up three flag pulls and punctuating the night with an interception on the very last play of the game.

Senior Vange Balouris was a defensive highlight reel, snagging two interceptions, including a spectacular pick-six return for a touchdown. Kmytek also contributed a pick from the Saints quarterback.

The lopsided 66-0 scoreline reflects more than just raw talent; it reflects a team playing in perfect harmony. From the veteran leadership of players like Zagacki, Bosley, and Balouris to the exciting “firsts” from Knoch, Kmytek, and Pealer, every member of the roster contributed to the total shutdown of Nazareth Prep.

The Lady Tigers travel to Shaler for a high-stakes showdown between two of the league’s top teams. With both squads eyeing the #1 seed, tomorrow’s 7 PM kickoff at Biles Field will determine who takes sole possession of first place.
