Tigers Earn Section Win Over Bridgers, 173-233
The North Allegheny girls’ golf team earned a section win over Ambridge on Monday afternoon, 173-233, at Fox Run Golf Course. It’s the fourth straight win for the Lady Tigers.
Senior Isabella Walter had an impressive day, leading all golfers with a 2-over par 38. Senior Esha Vaidya tallied a 43, followed closely behind by Christina Zhou’s 44. Freshman Katie Rose Rankin notched a 48 to finish off the day. Ambridge was led by Dinah Bailey, who notched a 49.
North Allegheny improves to 9-3 overall and 5-2 in section play. The Tigers in the WPIAL Individual Qualifier on Tuesday with a return trip to Fox Run Golf Course.
