Tigers Lands Win Over Planets, 169-240
The North Allegheny girls’ golf team won its third consecutive match on Thursday afternoon with a 169-240 victory over the Mars Planets.
The Tigers were led by senior Lauren Kardos, who carded a low score of 39 to pace all golfers on the day. Junior Megan Manesiotis and freshman Kayli Dings each shot a 43, while senior Katie Rose Rankin chipped in with a 44. Mars was led by Caitlyn Cox and her score of 49.
North Allegheny improves to 9-1 overall with the non-section win. The Tigers will return to section play with a visit Blackhawk on Tuesday.
