The Lady Tigers continued their dominant streak under the Friday night lights of Newman Stadium, delivering a clinical 26-6 victory over the North Hills Lady Indians. With this win, the Tigers remain undefeated, improving their record to a perfect 5-0.
The senior class took center stage, led by a spectacular performance from Luci Zagacki. Zagacki was an absolute force on the offensive side of the ball, accounting for the bulk of the scoring with three touchdowns and a successful extra point.
To put the finishing touches on the evening, Vange Balouris provided the highlight of the night, high-pointing the ball over a North Hills defender in the end zone to secure the final touchdown.
Freshman Quarterback Macy Sundgren was firing on all cylinders as she threw four touchdown passes while distributing the ball like a true point guard with precision and confidence.
The defense was equally impressive, stifling the Lady Indians’ momentum at every turn:
Mia Bosley: The senior standout was a secondary anchor, recording two huge interceptions and chipping in an extra point.
Danika Hogan: A nightmare for the opposing quarterback, Hogan racked up six tackles, including 3 sacks.
Brynn Hughey: Provided a relentless interior presence with five tackles and one sack.
The Lady Tigers look to keep the momentum rolling as they travel to take on Seneca Valley this Tuesday, March 31 at 7 pm.
