Tigers Take 11th In A Row With Convincing Win Against Rams
The North Allegheny girls’ golf team continued its winning ways on Tuesday afternoon with a road section victory over Pine-Richland, 168-222. The win wraps up a perfect trip through the section schedule with a 10-0 record. The last time NA went undefeated in section play was in 2018. That season the Tigers not only won the section title but the WPIAL and PIAA crowns as well.
Junior Katie Rose Rankin was the clubhouse leader at Conley’s Golf Course with a low score of 38. Senior Sissi Hai shot a 40, followed by sophomore Megan Manesiotis with a 42. Junior Lauren Kardos rounded out the scorecard with a 48. Pine-Richland was paced by Sydney Fluher’s 51.
North Allegheny improves to 14-1 overall and concludes section play with a perfect 10-0 record. The Tigers take their 11-match winning streak to South Fayette on Tuesday.
