Tigers take down OLSH

Boys
The North Allegheny boys bowling team defeated OLSH by a final score of 5-2, with NA taking games 1 and 3 as well as total pins by a score of 2,638 to 2,470.
The Tigers started out strong, winning game 1, 982-854 Aiden Austin put up a 237, Nathan Phillips had a 233, while Sai Gunapalli added a 198. OLSH squeaked out game 2, holding on in the 10th frame to win by 3 pins, 822-819. NA came back strong in the 3rd game, winning 837-794. Other strong performances for NA included Chase Beck with a 204 game, Garrett Anderson with a 199 and Brendan Moore with a 194. At the conclusion of this match, Phillips, Austin, Gunapalli, along with Seojin Oh and Dominic Danko are all in the top 10 for individual average in the section. The NA boys currently sit in 2nd place in their section, behind Moon and tied with OLSH in the standings.
The Tigers return to action when they take on Bishop Canevin at Perry Park Lanes on Wednesday, December 17.
Girls
At home, the Perry Park Lanes, the Lady Tigers hosted the OLSH Chargers. The girls suffered their first loss of the year against a well seasoned OLSH team. OLSH was able to take down a total of 1915 pins while the North Allegheny knocked down an impressive 1638 pins during the battle on the lanes.
Rising to the challenge for the day were junior Jordan Phillips with a 381 series (116, 130 and 135 games), followed by sophomore Colbie Edmond throwing 131 and 134 games with a 369 series. Sophomore Livie Etzel performed well shooting 115 and 122 games ending with a 333 series. Sophomore Aarna Desai was able to add to the pin count with her 117-game.
The Lady Tigers next match will be hosted at home on December 17th against the Bishop Canevin Crusaders.
