Tigers Top Cougars In Section 1-AAA Opener
North Allegheny girls’ golf team returned to the win column on Thursday afternoon with a 176-179 triumph over the Blackhawk Cougars in the Section 1-AAA opener.
Junior Lauren Kardos was the clubhouse leader with a low score of 39 on the day at Black Hawk Golf Course. Junior Katie Rose Rankin carded a 44, followed by senior Sissi Hai’s score of 46. Sophomore Megan Manesiotis rounded out the scoring with a 47.
With the win, North Allegheny improves to 4-1 overall and will visit Seneca Valley on Monday for another section matchup.
