Tigers Top Warriors, 179-188
In a non-section contest on Tuesday afternoon at Manor Valley Course, the North Allegheny girls’ golf team earned a 179-188 road win over Penn-Trafford.
For the second straight match, junior Katie Rose Rankin led the Tigers’ efforts with a score of 41. Seniors Sissi Hai and Jena Norman each shot a 45 and sophomore Megan Manesiotis added a 48. For Norman, she improved upon on career-best score, which she recently set on Friday against Mars. Penn-Trafford was paced by Amanda Bobish, who carded a low score of 40.
North Allegheny leaps to 7-1 overall following the win. The Tigers will return to section play on Wednesday against Pine-Richland.
