Two former Tigers found success over the weekend in the PAC Women’s Golf Championship at Mill Creek Golf Course in Boardman, OH.

Westminster College won their seventh straight PAC Golf Championship and ninth in program history thanks to sophomore Katie Rose Rankin, who shot a fourth round 80 to surge ahead of a W&J’s Megan Joyce and finish with a four-round 329. Rankin earned PAC Player of the Year and First Team All-PAC honors for her efforts.

It is the second year in a row Rankin has been named to the All-PAC First Team. She was also last year’s PAC Newcomer of the Year placing third with a four-round score of 329. Last season, Rankin was a seven-time PAC Newcomer of the Week along with two-time Player of the Week accolades. In 2024-2025, Rankin has won PAC Player of the Week four times.

The Titans now earn the automatic qualifying bid to the NCAA Division III Golf Championships at Bay Oaks Country Club in Houston, Texas on May 13-16.

Grove City College placed fifth at the PAC Women’s Golf championships in part to sophomore Lauren Kardos, who captured Second Team All-Conference laurels after finishing 10th overall. Kardos shot the tournament’s low round Saturday with a 79. She shot 91 Friday and finished the tournament with a four-round score of 351. Following the championships, she was named All-PAC Second Team. During her freshman campaign last season, Kardos was an Honorable Mention All-PAC selection by taking 11th overall with a 72-hole score of 362.

Earlier this season in the fall, Kardos helped the Wolverines capture second place at the Franciscan Invitational. She finished first individually by shooting an 85, which was good enough for a three-shot margin of victory. The sophomore also tied for first overall in the Penn State Altoona Invitational back in October leading to a second-place team finish.
