Lady Tigers Fall To Conestoga in PIAA Semifinals
The North Allegheny girls’ tennis team fell to Conestoga on Saturday in the PIAA semifinals by a 3-1 decision in Hershey, PA. The Lady Tigers, who won the state title a season ago for a fifth time, were edged by the District 1 runners-up. NA’s lone win in the semifinal contest was provided at No.1 singles courtesy of senior Ashley Huang, who claimed a 6-2, 6-1 win.
North Allegheny ends the 2018 season with a 16-3-1 record and a sixth straight WPIAL championship. Congratulations to head coach Michelle Weniger and the Lady Tigers for a fantastic season.
