Strong Outing For NA Gymnasts In Quad-Meet
It was another impressive performance from the North Allegheny gymnastics team on Tuesday night as the Lady Tigers finished with a team score of 145.3, good for second place in a home quad-meet with Fox Chapel, Pine-Richland and Hampton. Hampton took home top honors with a score of 148.35, followed by NA, Pine-Richland (137.7) and Fox Chapel (125.95).
Freshman Alicia Hinnebusch paced the Lady Tigers with an all-around score of 37.8. Hinnebusch had team-high scores in the vault (9.6) and bars (9.55) events. In the beam and floor competitions, it was senior Leah Elmore who totaled a high score of 9.5 and 9.55, respectively. For a look at all of North Allegheny’s scoring from Tuesday night, click here.
The North Allegheny gymnastics team will round out the regular season schedule with a visit to Baldwin on Friday night.
