Tigers Win Eight Medals at NA Indoor Rowing Championship
Eleven Western PA high school and club rowing teams gathered at Marshall Middle School to compete in the 17th Annual North Allegheny Indoor Rowing Championship on Saturday, February 25, 2017. Approximately 260 athletes and 17 coaches participated in an exciting day of simulated 2000-meter rowing races. The NA team has shown consistent improvement in time and form during the winter conditioning season resulting in many athletes posting PRs (a personal record in row speak) in their categories during the day’s event. Congratulations to all of our rowers for their stellar performance. Winning medals for NA were:
- Silver – Aidan Donovan (Mens Ltwt Varsity)
- Silver – Brooke Gauntner (Womens JV)
- Silver – Gearoid Ridenour (Mens JV)
- Bronze – Cassandre Korvink-Kucinski (Womens JV)
- Bronze – Arie Kalcevic (Mens Ltwt Varsity)
- Bronze – Ethan Mattson (Mens Novice)
