Two Tigers Reach Section 2-AAA Finals, Catanzarite Wins Crown
For the second straight season, a member of the North Allegheny girls’ tennis team won the Section 2-AAA singles titles. Freshman Nora Catanzarite defeated fellow NA teammate Ella Sinciline in the tournament finals on Thursday afternoon, 6-1, 6-0. Last season, then-senior Ashley Huang won the Section 2 crown.
By reaching the section finals, both Catanzarite and Sinciline advance to the WPIAL singles tournament next week.
