Tigers drop opener against Bethel Park
North Allegheny opened the season at Bethel Park High School taking on the Black Hawks. Bethel Park came in as defending WPIAL finalists and flexed their muscles once again, defeating the Tigers by a score of 4-1 on Monday afternoon.
The doubles team of Ella Mangene and Remi Hayward picked up a 6-4, 6-4 victory to get NA their lone match win.
North Allegheny starts the season 0-1 overall. The Tigers are back in action this afternoon when they host Fairview at noon at the North Allegheny High School tennis courts.
