Tigers pick up 5-0 sweep over Moon
North Allegheny hosted the Moon Tigers on Wednesday afternoon in their section opener at the North Allegheny High School courts. In the battle of Tigers, North Allegheny was dominant defeating Moon, 5-0.
NA didn’t drop a game all day as Mia Kaufman, Samantha Leeman and Alexa Richey all won their singles matches by scores of 6-0, 6-0. The doubles teams kept that trend going as Audrey Zheng and Rouxi Bai picked up the clean sweep at #1 doubles while Ella Mangene and Remi Hayward won their match 6-0, 6-0.
North Allegheny improves to 4-2 overall and 1-0 in the section. Moon falls to 1-3 overall and 0-2 in section play. NA returns to action tomorrow when they travel to Montour to take on the Spartans at 3:30 p.m. in another section matchup.
