Tigers Beat Indians To Keep Win Streak Alive

The North Allegheny girls’ tennis team kept the win streak intact with a 4-1 match victory over North Hills on the road Monday afternoon.
In singles, the Indians’ only win came in the first match, as Elinor Kim beat Mia Kaufman. Samantha Leeman beat Adelaide Seigworth 6-3, 6-0. The Tigers rounded off singles action with a 7-5, 6-1 win for Alexa Richey, who beat Alaina Weaver.
In doubles action, the duo of Audrey Zheng and Rouxi Bai took down Laura Clement and Georgia Krogmann 6-1, 6-1. NA finished off the day with a 6-1, 6-0 win for Ella Mangene and Remi Hayward over Julia Nease and Reagan Iwanowski.
North Allegheny improves to 12-2 overall and 8-0 in the section after the North Hills match. NA has now won 12 in a row and will play at home against North Catholic on Tuesday afternoon.
