NA tripped up by Penn-Trafford
by: Inline Hockey Contributor
It was a rough day on the rink for the NA Inline Tigers as they suffered an 8-0 loss to the Penn-Trafford Warriors on Sunday at the RMU Island Sports Center.
The Tigers were down a couple of players for the contest and the Warriors took advantage, controlling the offense, scoring two goals in the first period.
The second period saw much of the same as the Warriors held the Tigers at bay and notched an additional six markers.
The mercy rule was invoked and the Tigers ended with an 8-0 loss.
Senior goalie Claudia Kushon, although stopping numerous attempts, suffers the loss as the Tigers record falls to 4-6. The Tigers resume play next Sunday against the Shaler Titans at 10:00 AM at the RMU Island Sports Center.
