NA resumes play with loss to Butler

The NA Inline Tigers resumed play on Sunday at the RMU Island Sports Center and fell to a feisty Butler Tornados team by a score of 6-2.
The Tornados opened the scoring in the first period with two goals before sophomore Adam Cameron notched a Tiger unassisted goal to close out the frame with the Tornados leading 2-1.
The Tornados logged the first two goals of the second period as well before sophomore Travis Herm scored a quick goal off the faceoff. The Tornados closed out the period with one additional goal, maintaining a Butler lead of 5-2.
While keeping the Tigers at bay in the third period, the Tornados added one final goal to secure a 6-2 Tornado win.
Senior goalie Claudia Kushon suffers the loss as the Tigers’ record falls to 5-7. The Tigers will resume play after the holidays on Sunday, January 11 at 10:00 AM against the Pine Richland/Hampton at the RMU Island Sports Center.
