Cheerleading places fourth at PIAA Championships

North Allegheny traveled to War Memorial in Johnstown, PA to take part in the PIAA Championships over the weekend. The Tigers placed fourth in the 3A Large Varsity Finals out of 19 teams. Baldwin took home PIAA gold.

NA opened the weekend posting a score of 85, good enough for fifth place in the preliminary round. With the top five scoresCheerleaders performing stunts at indoor competition, yellow uniforms, large banners in the background. skipping the semifinal round, North Allegheny advanced to the state finals.

In the finals, the Tigers accumulated a score of 82.4 which put them in fourth place in the state of Pennsylvania.
