Abbey Swirsding, Emily Wincko Win Section 2-AAA Doubles Title
Senior captains Emily Wincko and Abbey Swirsding won the Section 2-AAA doubles crown on Thursday. The duo of Wincko an Swirsding were seeded No. 1 in the Section 2 bracket and cruised to the championship, defeating Cece Crowley and Reese Hanna of Mars in the title tilt, 6-1, 6-0.
Also representing NA at the tournament was the combo of Reagan Dougherty and Eileen Hu. Dougherty and Hu picked up an opening round win over Seneca Valley’s Kylie Staudt and Sydney Boucher by a 10-3 decision before falling in the tournament quarterfinals.

Wincko and Swirsding will take part in the WPIAL Doubles tournament beginning on Thursday, Oct. 6.
