Adams, Li Take Silver At PIAA Doubles Championships
North Allegheny senior Maddy Adams and freshman Tina Li continued on to the finals of the PIAA Doubles Championships on Saturday. Adams and Li dispatched District 1 champions Jenna Peng and TuQuyen Pham of Parkland, 6-4, 6-1, the tournament semifinals. Adams and Li were tripped up in the state finals by the WPIAL Champions from Fox Chapel, Laurel Shymansky and Lacey Cohen, 6-3, 6-7 (3), 7-6 (1). Congratulations to Adams and Li for a fantastic run to the PIAA finals and a silver medal.
