Girls Tennis gets better of Shaler
North Allegheny traveled to Shaler High School to take on the Titans in another section matchup. NA kept the win streak rolling running their number up to eight with a 5-0 sweep of Shaler.
Mia Kaufman and Alexa Richey did not drop a game in their matches both winning by scores of 6-0, 6-0. Samantha Leeman had similar luck only dropping one game winning 6-0, 6-1.
Ella Mangene and Remi Hayward defeated Shaler’s #1 doubles team 6-2, 6-1 while Cynthia Li and Medha Thirmula made quick work of the Titans’ second doubles team winning 6-0, 6-0.
North Allegheny improves to 8-2 overall and 5-0 in the section. Shaler falls to 2-6 overall and 0-5 in section play. The Tigers take a break from section play tomorrow when they host Mt. Lebanon at the North Allegheny High School tennis courts in non-section action at 3:30 p.m.
