Inline Hockey tripped up by Norwin

The NA Inline Tigers came up short against the Norwin Knights on Sunday at the RMU Island Sports Center by a score of 6-3.

The Knights opened the scoring in the first period with two goals. The Tigers responded with a goal from sophomore Travis Herm with an assist by junior Liam Huey as the Tigers closed out the frame down 2-1.

In the second, the Knights held the Tigers at bay while adding two additional goals, increasing the Knight lead to 4-1.

The Tigers came out strong in the third period starting with a goal from senior Stefan Craig on a nice backdoor pass from junior Christian Mark.  The second goal for the frame came from senior Matthew Noffsinger assisted by Craig but the Knights responded with the two final goals to end the game with 6-3 Tiger defeat.

Senior goalie Claudia Kushon suffers the loss as the Tiger record falls to 3-3. The Tigers resume play next Sunday at the RMU Island Sports Center, time and opponent to be determined.
