Katie Rose Rankin Earns Second PAC Player of the Year Honor

For the second time in as many years, former North Allegheny golfer and current Westminster College junior Katie Rose Rankin has been named the Player of the Year in the Presidents’ Athletic Conference.

Rankin finished with a four-round score of 312 after shooting a two-over 74 on Saturday at the PAC Championships at Mill Creek Metroparks’ Mill Creek Golf Course. She had four birdies during her final round. Rankin entered the two spring championship rounds in second place. She recorded a four-round score of 329 last season.
Westminster finished in second place with a four-round team score of 1343 after Saturday’s 321.
Rankin was also named First Team All-PAC after the Championships, her third straight first-team selection.
Rankin was additionally named PAC Player of the Week multiple times this season.
