Lady Tigers Tennis Drops Peters Township, 4-1
The Lady Tigers won their second straight match to begin the fall, upending the Peters Township Indians on Thursday afternoon, 4-1. North Allegheny swept through singles competition with wins by Anna Li, Tina Li, and Tristyn Maalouf. Catherine Liu and Catherine Zhang defeated Jenn Stroyne and Meredith Rohn at #2 doubles, 0-6, 7-6 (11-9), and 7-5. Peters Township’s Jen Holcombe and Megan Hixon claimed the Indians lone win for the day at #1 doubles.
North Allegheny improves to 2-0 on the year and will open section play with a home contest against Knoch. Action gets underway at 10:00 am from the NASH courts.
