MSRA All-Region Teams, Honor Roll Released
Two members of the North Allegheny rowing team took home All-Region honors, while six others were named to the Midwest Scholastic Rowing Association (MSRA) Honor Roll for the spring season this past week.
Seniors Christian Sperandeo and Cooper Lemon were named 1st Team All-Region in Men’s Sculling. The award winners for All-Region were selected based on their 2k times, racing performance, and coaches’ recommendations.
The six Tigers named to the MSRA Honor Roll for 2026 included juniors Daniel Choi, Max Disque, Lydia Humphrey, Ryan Lovejoy, Jocelyn Munroe and Suraj Raina.
The Honor Roll is comprised of high school juniors (Class of 2027) who are members of MSRA scholastic rowing teams. The individuals needed a minimum of 3.6 GPA (4.0 scale), or equivalent (90% of possible, including bonus points), calculated from the first semester of 9th grade through and including the first semester of the 11th grade year. They also must be an active rower or coxswain in an MSRA member program, who in their 9th, 10th, or 11th grade year rowed in the A-Finals of the MSRA Championship.
