NA can’t contain Butler in 11-1 setback

The NA Inline Tigers suffered their fourth loss of the season to the Butler Golden Tornado by a score of 11-1 on Sunday at the RMU Island Sports Center.
It was a whirlwind first period with the Tornados logging five goals taking a commanding lead while keeping the Tigers at bay. The Tornado offensive barrage continued into the second period scoring the first three goals of the frame before the Tigers notched a goal of their own by sophomore Travis Herm. Butler completed an additional three goals and the mercy rule was initiated to close out the period with an 11-1 Tiger loss.
Senior goalie Claudia Kushon suffers the loss as the Tiger record falls to 3-4. The Tigers will resume play next Sunday at 10:00 AM against the West Allegheny Indians at the RMU Island Sports Center.
