NA Drops Opener To Upper St. Clair
The North Allegheny girls’ tennis team opened the 2021 season on Tuesday afternoon and fell to the host Upper St. Clair Panthers, 5-0.
Upper St. Clair, the WPIAL runners-up in Class AAA a season ago, received singles victories from Maggie Stief, Claire Loomis and Evie Ellenberger to jump start the Panthers efforts toward victory.
Following the season-opening defeat, the Tigers have another tough test on Wednesday against the reigning WPIAL Class AAA champions and state runners-up, the Latrobe Wildcats.
