NA Suffers Setback At Greater Latrobe, 3-2
The North Allegheny girls’ tennis team dropped a 3-2 decision at Latrobe on Wednesday in non-section play.
Earning wins for the Tigers were junior Jenny Zhu at No. 3 singles and the duo of Emily Wincko and Abbey Swirsding at No. 2 doubles. Zhu topped Bailey Noel by a score of 6-1, 6-0. Wincko and Swirsding prevailed over Avery Marsaro and Emily Mondock, 6-3, 6-2.
The loss drops North Allegheny’s record to 1-2 on the season. The Tigers return to action on Thursday with a home match against Mt. Lebanon.
