NA sweep tri-meet with Thomas Jefferson and Baldwin

North Allegheny gymnastics hosted Baldwin and defending WPIAL champion Thomas Jefferson at Jewarts Gymnastics on Thursday night. The Tigers put together a great performance posting 141.5 points as a team, good enough to defeat both Thomas Jefferson (136.7) and Baldwin (135.875).

Hannah Seidl was the top performer of the meet in the vault with a score of 9.4. Caroline DiRenzo had the third highest score at 9.2. On the bars, DiRenzo claimed top score of the meet with a 9.3. Seidl posted a 9, good enough for third. Sarah Patterson scored a 8.7 on the beam, tied for the top score on the night. Seidl had a 9.15 in the floor routine for the top score. DiRenzo was right behind her in second with a 9.05.

North Allegheny improves to 3-1 overall on the season. The Tigers return to action on Friday, January 2, when they host North Hills and Montour at Jewarts Gymnastics. The meet is scheduled to begin at 7 p.m.
