NA Wins Fifth Straight defeating Canon Mac
North Allegheny dominated their way to a fifth straight win defeating Canon Mac 5-0 in a non-section road game on Wednesday. The Lady Tigers did not drop a set all day.
Nora Catanzarite won the No. 1 singles match 6-1, 6-1 over Anna Beachy. Ella Sinciline defeated Meghan Rea 6-0, 6-1 and Jenny Zhu won her match 6-2, 6-0 defeating Katelyn Farrar.
Doubles was also dominated by NA led by Clair Shao and Abbey Swirsding beating Alyssa Goodman and Taylor Zanke 6-1, 6-0. Ashley Chung and Claire Zheng defeated Hannah Markovich and Emily Wilson 6-1, 6-1 in the No. 2 doubles match.
The win improved NA’s record to 6-2 overall. It’s a quick turnaround for the Lady Tigers as they are back in action tomorrow against Hampton in a road section match at 3:30 pm.
