Tigers Trounce Titans, 8-2

The NA Inline Tigers continued their winning ways with a convincing win over the Shaler Titans Sunday at the RMU Island Sports Center by a score of 8-2.

The Titans opened the scoring in the first period but the Tigers responded with a goal from senior Aidan Anthony assisted by senior Aiden Noffsinger. Senior Declan Dadey netted a backhand goal once again assisted by Aiden Noffsinger.  Senior Jacob Rice closed out the period with one additional goal as Aiden Noffsinger notched his third assist of the period.  The Tigers end the period with a 3-1 lead.

The second period opened with Aidan Noffsinger in the score column this time, assisted by Rice. Following a full-Rink pass from junior Steven Cameron, it was senior Matthew Noffsinger with the goal. The Titans managed a goal to close out the second period with the Tigers leading by a score of 5-2.

Matthew Noffsinger opened the scoring in the third period assisted by Dadey and Cameron then scored assisted by Anthony.  The final goal of the game came from Anthony assisted by Matthew Noffsinger securing the victory by a score of 8-2.

Freshman goalie Connor Greenberg earned the win as the Tigers improve their record to 11-1.  The Tigers will continue play in the new year on Sunday January 7, 2024.  They will have two games, the first against the Central Catholic Vikings at 12:00 and the second against Penn Trafford at 2:00, both games will be played at the RMU Island Sports Center.
