Second Place Finish For Tigers On Senior Night
In their second meet of the week, the North Allegheny gymnastics team put forth another strong performance on senior night. North Allegheny took second place with a team score of 143.35, just two points behind first-place finisher Hampton who totaled a score of 145.75. Also competing at the event were Pine-Richland (136.2) and Montour (76.9).
Leading the way for the Tigers was freshman Alicia Hinnebusch who garnered an all-around score of 37.05. Hinnebusch notched team-high scores in the vault (9.3), bars (9.5) and floor (9.55) competitions.
Sophomore Annie Haywood tallied a team-best score in the beam event with a 9.2, followed closely behind by Addison Restelli’s score of 9. Honored on senior night were NA gymnasts Kylie Radick and Leah Elmore. For a more in depth look at Thursday night’s scoring, click here.
