Tigers back in win column with victory over Seneca Valley

The North Allegheny Inline Tigers bounced back into the win column, defeating the Seneca Valley Raiders on Sunday by a score of 12-4 at the RMU Island Sports Center.
Although the Raiders opened the scoring in the first, it was pretty much all NA for the remainder of the period. Junior Liam Huey initiated the barrage of scoring followed by senior Matthew Noffsinger, senior Stefan Craig, followed by a second goal from Huey, assisted by sophomore Travis Herm. The Raiders notched a second goal for the frame, but the Tigers closed out the period with two additional goals, both from junior Christian Mark ending the first with a 6-2 Tiger lead.
The offense continued into the second period with two additional goals from Noffsinger and one from junior Marcus Garcia before the Raiders notched a goal of their own.
The third period started with a Raider penalty which led to a Noffsinger power play goal. The Raiders hung in there with one additional goal but it was sophomore Adam Cameron scoring, assisted by Garcia, and Huey scoring once more for the final goal to end the game with a 12-4 Tiger win.
Senior goalie Claudia Kushon earns the win as the Tigers record improves to 2-2. The Tigers will resume play next Sunday against the West Allegheny Indians at 10:00 AM at the RMU Island Sports Center.
