Tigers finished in seventh at WPIAL Championships; qualify for States
North Allegheny cheerleading traveled to Hempfield High School to participate in the WPIAL Championships on Saturday afternoon.
The Tigers put up a final score of 84.5, good enough to finish seventh overall and fourth in the 3A Large Division. With the top 12 teams qualifying for the PIAA Championships, NA punched its ticket to states. Hempfield claimed the WPIAL 3A title with a final score of 92.

The Tigers advance to the PIAA Championships, which will take place on January 9 and 10 at the War Memorial in Johnstown, PA.
