Tigers open season with split against Burrel & Hempfield
North Allegheny traveled to Ultimate Gymnastics in Delmont, PA for their lone road contest to open the season. The Tigers put together a team total of 136.9 points in the contest, enough to defeat Hempfield who finished with 93.15, but a point short of Burrell who finished the night with a score of 137.8.
Hannah Seidl had the top score for NA on the vault posting a 9.5, good for second overall. Sarah Patterson posted an 8.25 on the bars, which gave her fifth place on the night. Seidl had the top score overall on the beam with a 9.5 while Patterson came in second overall in the floor routine with a 9.

North Allegheny is now 1-1 to start the season. The Tigers return to action on Thursday, December 18 when they welcome Baldwin and Thomas Jefferson to Jewarts Gymnastics with the contest starting at 6 p.m.
