Tigers return from holiday break with 7-4 win over Pine-Richland/Hampton

The NA Inline Tigers resumed play following the holiday break with a 7-4 win over the Pine Richland/Hampton Rams on Sunday at the RMU Island Sports Center.
The Rams opened the scoring in the first period but the Tigers responded with a goal from senior Matthew Noffsinger assisted by junior Christian Mark to end the frame in a 1-1 tie.
In the second period, it was senior Stefan Craig with a power play goal assisted by Noffsinger but the Rams responded this time with a goal of their own to tie the score at 2-2. The Tigers closed out the period with an additional goal from junior Marcus Garcia assisted by junior Liam Huey giving the Tigers the 3-2 advantage.
The third period was explosive as the Tigers held the Rams to two goals while compiling four markers of their own. Leading the charge was Noffsinger with three additional goals with assists from Huey and sophomore Adam Cameron, and one unassisted goal from Mark to end the game with a 7-4 Tiger win.
Sophomore goalie Travis Herm earns his first win of the season as the Tigers record improves to 6-7. The Tigers will resume play next Sunday against the West Allegheny Indians at 10:00 AM at the RMU Island Sports Center.
