
Tigers take Game 1 in Best-of-3 Championship Series over Shaler

The North Allegheny Inline Tigers recorded the first win of a three-game championship series against the Shaler Titans by a score of 5-2 on Sunday at the RMU Island Sports Center.
In the first period, the Titans notched the first two goals but the Tigers responded with last minute power play marker from senior Steven Cameron assisted by senior Ethan Zadnik.
In the second period, the Tigers responded with a goal from Zadnik assisted by Cameron and an unassisted power play goal by Cameron to close out the period with the Tigers leading 3-2.
In the third period, the Tigers again extended their lead with a goal from senior Kip Seymour assisted by sophomore Christian Mark and Cameron with his third unassisted power play goal on the day to give the Tigers the 5-2 win.
Junior goalie Claudia Kushon earns the win as the Tigers move on to game two of the three-game series against the Titans on Saturday at 5:00 pm at the RMU Island Sports Center.
