The NA Inline Tigers resumed play on Sunday following a month-long hiatus and earned a hard-fought win against the Butler Tornado by a score of 3-2 at the RMU Island Sports Center.

In a low-scoring semifinal match that saw a total of eight penalties, it was junior Steven Cameron notching the first goal for the Tigers, assisted by senior Tristan Soose. The Tornado responded with a goal of their own ending the period tied at 1-1.

While holding the Tornado scoreless in the second period it was the Tigers’ Aidan Anthony who had the lone unassisted goal, closing out the frame with NA leading 2-1.

In the third period, the Tornado notched a quick goal tying the game at 2-2, but it was senior Declan Dadey with the unassisted game-winning goal to give the Tigers a 3-2 victory.

Sophomore Claudia Kushon earns the win as the Tigers move on to the three-game championship series against the Upper St. Clair Panthers starting on Sunday, March 3, at 4:00 at the RMU Island Sports Center.
