Tigers Tally Win Against Talbots, 4-1
The North Allegheny girls’ tennis team rolled to a fourth straight win on Monday afternoon with a 4-1 triumph over the Hampton Talbots.
The victory was spearheaded by NA’s dominance in singles play as Emily Wincko, Abbey Swirsding and Claire Zheng each earned 6-0, 6-0, sweeps over their foes. The No. 2 doubles pairing of Eileen Hu and Tia Soussou added to the Tigers’ point total with a 6-2, 6-1, victory against Mallory Malloy and Abi Green.
The win improves North Allegheny’s record to 4-2 overall and 3-0 in section play. The Tigers will visit Thomas Jefferson on Tuesday for a non-section meeting with the Jaguars.
